Hold Up For Haiti

Hold Up For Haiti is an event that will bring hundreds of Longhorns together to raise funds to benefit the Haiti Earthquake relief efforts. Students, staff and friends will come together at Disch-Falk Field on Saturday morning where they will be directed to a highly trafficked intersection in Austin. With HUFH t-shirts on and collection buckets in hand, these volunteers will "hold up" the interesection by collecting money from passing drivers. All proceeds from this project will benefit the following organizations' relief efforts in Haiti: American Red Cross, Save the Children, and Partners in Health.

Hold Up For Haiti is a joint effort of The Texas Round Table, UT Student Government, Student Volunteer Board, and the Volunteer and Service Learning Center.

To get involved you may show up at Disch-Falk Field on Saturday morning to volunteer. If unable to volunteer your time, please consider making a donation to Hold Up For Haiti.
